I attended Monmouth University, where I acquired my master's degree in special education. I also am Orton-Gillingham trained. Along with my academic accomplishments, I have about a decade of experience working with students in classroom settings or private tutoring settings. I have worked with students of all different ages, all the way from pre-kindergarten students to students in college. While I have tutored a number of different subjects, I specialize in reading and mathematics in an elementary level. I also tutor writing, phonics, grammar and mechanics, and ISEE test prep. I absolutely love reading and find it crucial to be able to read effectively in today's world. However, I have quite an interest in mathematics as well. Mathematics includes different strategies and tricks. I enjoy teaching those strategies and tricks to my students in hopes that they will master the subject. When I am not teaching, I can be found experimenting in the kitchen. I enjoy cooking and trying out new recipes. I also keep busy by spending quality time with my family and sewing. I am a current resident of Matthews, North Carolina.
