I studied at the UNCG for a degree in Art Education. I am licensed to teach K-12 by NC DPI.

Experience

I would love to be a tutor, and considering my profession, I think it is suitable. I currently just finished my first year teaching at an elementary school art. It was interesting considering that most of my experience is working with high school students in art. In terms of art history, I was excellent at this subject in college. It was to be my second degree when I finished art education. I have worked with other students who have needed help with the many topics on this subject, however, I was never an official tutor.

Hobbies

I particularly like working with acrylic and oils for painting. Drawing and sketching is one thing I like focusing on. If you need help with basic concepts concerning the elements of of art and principles of design, I can teach fundamentals. Modeling is something that I do well. Modeling, in this case, is demonstration of art techniques. Despite all the facets that art to offer, I really love landscapes, even if people consider them "just a background".
