Hello! I am a biology instructor in a community college in Charlotte, NC. I graduated from Eastern Carolina University, and North Carolina State University, Raleigh, and I have been teaching science and veterinary students at North Carolina State University. I have additional experience working at a research laboratory on an experiment cloning swine. I like to incorporate hands-on projects when teaching science, paired with research projects to emphasize course content. I also reinforce the significance that scientific research has in our lives and the world in which we live. I believe that a strong interest in science can provide a new perspective for the student to view and understand many things about our environment. I tutor courses in anatomy, biology, physiology, life sciences, genetics, molecular biology, and molecular genetics. I am also able to assist with prep in the IB biology SL exam.
